A white Stutz
driven by A.C.Chrisman broke down on the south curve, and it was hit by Gus
Schrader in a
Ford Bobcat, rolling the Stutz. Chrisman was trapped underneath the wreckage,
and it was
thought that it might be necessary to amputate one of his leg’s due to the
injuries. His
mechanician, Lynn Clark, was unhurt.
